BOYCOTT CENTRAL EXCISE DAY CELEBRATION ON 24TH OF FEBRUARY, 2012

WE HAVE RECEIVED AN E-MAIL FROM THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF SUPERINTENDENTS' ASSOCIATION, WHEREIN HE HAS FORWARDED AN INTIMATION FROM THE OSD TO MEM(P&V) WITH THE ASSURACE TO MEET THE ASSOCIATION IN THE 2ND WEEK OF MARCH AND THIS HAD CONSIDERED AS ASSURANCE AND THE SO CALLED ASSOCIATION HAD CALLED OFF THEIR PROGRAMME,

WE THE INSPECTORS' ASSOCIATION ONLY HAD NOT FORMULATED THIS AGITATION PROGRAMME;  IT IS A DECISION OF JAC IN CBEC, WHICH CONSTITUTES 80% OF THE DEPARTMENTAL EMPLOYEES. AND TILL DATE THESE EMPLOYESS HAD RECEIVED THIS TYPE OF NUMEROUS ASSURANCES FROM BOARD BUT NOT FROM THE MINISTRY. OUR AGITATION IS CHIEFLY AGAINST THE MINISTRY AND THE GOVT. AND NOT MERELY AGAINST OUR BOARD ONLY. HENCE, UNLESS GOVT. AGREES TO HAVE A DISCUSSION WITH THE CONSTITUENT ORGANISATIONS TOGETHER IN THIS REGARD WE MAY HAVE TO ADOPT MORE VIGOROUS ACTION PROGRAMEE IN FUTURE.

MESSAGE RECEIVED FROM SECRETARY GENERAL AIACEGEO IS POSTED BELOW:

Dear friends, good evening.
Today we were called by the Board. Meeting was held with OSD to Member (P&V), JS (Admn) as well as the Member (P&V). The written assurance given by them is attached herewith.
Satyagrah including Excise day (24.02.12) boycott programme is, therefore, being deferred for the time being.
Love,
Ravi.
OSD is so powerful that what Chairman, FM did not gave us till date except assurances, he will consider our request, Once again we are become prey of these crocked people tactics. It was just an attempt to avert the crises, The letter is itself is vague and the OSD in CBEC office is not more than a clerk or PA. If on such vagure assurances we are deferring the call and losing the momentum and the significance, then only GOD WILL SAVE THE CADRE. On one side they give letter to us and other side to Inspectors threatening for action on strike, this clearly indicates the intention of the CBEC.
MESSAGE RECEIVED FROM GS OF KARNATAKA UNIT OF AIACEGEO IS POSTED BELOW-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hi all of us are having very good future with this type of response from board.

The letter issued by board regarding agitation doesn't have a reference no. to file. So easy to shred. When we have very clear references to files, we are facing difficulties, and now without reference! guess what.
Whether we were waiting for such a letter to defer the sathyagraha when it was called with such zeal. OK, what about other organisations, whether similar letter is issued to them. or only we want to depart. If it is only us, then, for having spoiled our career, nothing in sight actions, reluctant work to fill-up existing vacancies, and all our other points, yes we have to support our board and ditch our brothers in gr. B,C,D.

Sorry to interrupt! it seems that to-day, board has called one more set of ACRs and other particulars of retired officers etc to fill-up existing vacancies, and we have to believe their assurances. To get such assurances, there was no need to call for sathyagraha, without call also we can get it and we are getting it since past so many years.

Lack of ........, lack of togetherness, no team work resulted in this situation. For this we have to blame the association not any particular office bearer.

While taking deferment decision, whether Central office bearers were consulted.
Lot more questions needs to be answered.

SRINTH G......

Manoj Sharma Betrayal...............
Mani Mohan A REGRETTABLE RETREAT....SHAMEFUL EXIT...
Salman Hussaini Board is using the same tactis adopted by East India Co. that divide and rule. The Board has called the meeting the Superintendent Association without bothering to invite the member of other association. We should not blame the superintendent' s association rather we feel embrashed that our senior member do not utilise their wisdom before calling the bycotte.
Joy Chettupuzha We devide and they rule! Why should we blame others when we have such leadership?
C.j. Thomas
This action by the Secretary General of the Superintendent’s association clearly speaks out the multiple stands of a feeble leadership betraying the entire Gr.B & C cadres of the CBEC. We should continue our protests and boycott the CentralExcise Day Celebrations as decided by the Joint Action Council. Let the Superintendents have the wisdom to come out from the clutches of such irresponsible leaders and join hands with the Joint Action Council.
Nanjunda Swamy Boss,
This is not a true message from your inner feeling. Its very feeble and lacks motivation.
Pl explain what's happening at Delhi. Why things are going in that wrong direction? Who
is responsible for all this mess? Whether any benefit in person to any body?
Lokanath Mishra let our boycotting of excise day continue to put pressure thereafter definitely we will discuss the issue.
Daniel Godfrey Board has taken a leaf out of the British era....DIVIDE AND RULE....by that way, the officers will get the benefit and the others be doomed, as has been happening over the years :-(
“I have already intimated to all friends of this group that there is no harm in joining JAC locally. Our units can join with JAC for the interest of cadre. Under the banner of JAC they can boycott Excise day and also can join in walks out”.
