Central Excise Day Boycott a grand Success

We congratulate all self motivated members for making Central Excise Day Boycott a grand Success; though the last minute withdrawal by the All India Supdts. Assn., discouraged everyone in that cadre and many members of Superintendents Association also expressed their displeasure over the action of the SG, AIACEGEO.

In view of notice given by the Joint Action Committee, it was decided by the administration to restrict the function in a meeting at JCM room of Hqrs. Jaipur. So far as information received, out of 9 Inspectors selected by the administration for grant of certificate of appreciation on occasion of Excise Day, only two attended the function.

Surprisingly, President & General Secretary of Inspectors Association were not present at headquarters on the day of boycott and virtually there was no persuasion by the local association. It is also gathered that due to mis- reporting by the General Secretary over phone, Mr. PK Bansal & Mr. GP Gupta have attended the function.

This Excise Day Boycott was self motivated and there was no role of local association in the Success. We again thanks all the self motivated members who makes the Central Excise Day Boycott a grand Success;
