Friends, in reference to our representation C.No.CCEEOA/JPR/Rep./2008/ Dated;-19.12.2008, it is also bring to your notice that fixation of pay of Inspector’s (who has completed four years in the grade pay of Rs. 4800/- i.e. pay scale of Rs. 7500-12000) in the grade pay of Rs. 5400 /- according to the CBEC clarification F.No. A-26017/98/2008-Ad II.A dt. 21.11.2008 has already been done in Gujarat zone in the month of December 08.
In Chandigarh Zone, Patna Zone, Mumbai I, II Zone etc. fixation has also been done in this month and in other Zones fixation is being done this month.Similarly in the Jaipur Zone orders of fixation has been issued in Customs and CE Division- I & Service Tax Jaipur (copy of orders is available with us).
We especially thanks to Mr. Shriram Meena, Assistant Commissioner CE Dn-I & Service Tax Jaipur for taking initiation in issuance of these orders in Jaipur Zone.
We request the administration to get it implemented in other offices of Jaipur zone by this month.

"Friends, we are also examining the issue of one additional increment at the time of fixation under NFSG as per FR 22(1)(a)(ii) vide DOPT Order no. 1/2/88-Estt.(Pay-I) dated 22.5.1989 as amended."
