Advances for purchase of conveyances during 2011-2012 - Rate of interest revised.

The Finance Ministry vide OM No. F.No. 5(2)-B(PD)/2011 dated  19.03.2012 has revised the rate of interest for the advances sanctioned to Central Government Employees for purchase of two wheeler and four Wheelers during April 2011 to 31st March 2012.

Revised rate of interest are as under:

(i) Advance for purchase of conveyance other than motor car (viz. motor cycle, scooter etc.) @ 9% per annum

(ii) Advance for purchase of motor car @ 11.5% per annum
